Light storm
Creation year: 1999
Medium: digital
Dimensions: 6000 x 4514 px
A depiction of a bright storm on an alien planet. This surreal landscape was done during a period of break between heavy 3D projects. I like its simplicity. I imagined a bright light, shock-wave like, storm so powerful that it literally cuts anything it comes across. The storm moves quickly just above the ground and makes a loud noise as if it was supersonic...
Back in 1999 this image was on the cover of a Polish edition of the Nexus Magazine.

Wow, I would love to explore some of your worlds. I am trying to figure out how i want to express myself as an artist and your work has been very inspiring to me.
You are my savior... your art makes me want to go to sleep and never wake up again, and soar off to heaven and spend eternity with the most beautiful things unimaginable...

The haze communicates a sense of movement, almost as though something is emanating from the spires in the background. The tilted perspective helps that way too. Very cool.
