Strata is the third piece in an ongoing series of abstract renderings of the primordial. Lately I noticed that the more abstracts I do the more I enjoy the genre. There is so much freedom of expression... the unlimited possibility for exploring this largely uncharted visual dimension makes it even more exciting to work with. It is also more forgiving. When I'm low in creative energy I turn to abstract work, and something good always comes up and that lifts my spirit.
