Title: Cyberian flight

Back in 1996 I did a scifi rendering called On the patrol. Since I like the idea of scout vessels patrolling snowy terrain I decided to do something similar. Two vessels on a reconnaissance mission gathering intelligence data.

The landscape and the planets in this picture are amazing. Can you produce another one without the space ships? The space ships look nice, but seem a little bit out of place in a manner that I feel is due to being a different drawing style.

It would also be interesting to see a landscape like this drawn, but that is at least 5 times as wide (yeah, a long and wide image). This landscape is very unique in its appearance that make it an absolute joy to just sit around and look at.

Thank you for sharing this image.

@steve
Thanks. It is digital. In this case I started by modelling the ships, then texturing them and finally I made the landscape, the planets and all the rest. It's too long a process to describe in detail here.

Is this a digitally produced image, and if so how? It's fantastic!!!!
