Welcome to stock illustration of Dawid Michalczyk. I'm a freelance illustrator and an artist and I sell licenses that allow legal use of my work. Much of my art are personal works that have not been done for a client or commercial project. These images are original and unique, well suitable for a variety of purposes like magazine, book, advertising or game art.

Most images in the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Space, Surreal and Abstract galleries are available for licensing. Just look below each image to see if the image is available for licensing. I sell two types or licenses: Non-Commercial and Commercial.

Non-Commercial License

Price: $10 per image

The Non-Commercial license allows for private/family/educational use of the purchased image(s) in a non commercial manner. The license allows you to use the image(s) as-is and does not permit redistribution. Thus, you can not modify the image(s) itself in any way like changing colors, painting on top of it, or mixing it with other images. You can however put your logo, or other writing, on top of it if used as a CD/DVD cover (or similar).

Illustrations sold under this license are available at 2048 pixels wide resolution (or 1536 pixels high if the image is higher than wider), and are 2-3MB each. Such resolution is fine for printing CD/DVD covers or small posters. To ensure maximum visual quality every image is provided in a PNG file format - a cross platform compatible image format that works with all popular operating systems like Linux, Mac and Windows.

To order simply go to the gallery and locate the image(s) you like and add them to cart. The ordering process (via PayPal) is secure and supports all major credit cards. Once your payment has been verified, you will receive via email: the ordered image(s), image license document, and an Invoice.

Commercial License

Price: from $100 per image

The commercial license is for any project/product that you intend to sell to earn profit. The price starts at $100 US per image and depends on the amount of work I put into painting the image, and the purpose of its use. To ensure maximum visual quality each image is provided in a PNG or TIFF file format - a cross platform compatible image formats that work with all popular operating systems like Linux, Mac and Windows. JPG is also available if preferred. Images sold under this license are available at minimum 300dpi or 4000-7000 pixels wide resolution (needed for printing purposes) and range in size from 10 to 90MB. Upon ordering, a link will be send to you via email pointing to the hi-res image.

If you'd like to purchase a commercial license, simply send me an email writing which image(s) you are interested in (the titles or links to them) and where/how they will be used. I will then email you back a price within 24 hours. My prices are very flexible depending on purpose and the amount of images you'd like to purchase.

Bottom line

All stock illustrations are original and unique images. A license will allow you to legally use the purchased image(s). Once the payment has been completed, you will receive a high resolution version of the image(s), a License Agreement document, and an Invoice as proof of your legal right to use the image(s).
