This used to be one of the most popular of my surreal works back in the mid 90's. I received many, many emails from people all over the world telling me how much they like it. Many were asking about surreal posters also, which at the time I could not provide. Perhaps the beautiful shades of blue and a tranquil, spiritual feel to it makes this image so appealing. This image was featured on the inside of the CD cover of the MacFormat magazine (March 1996).
i must say this is probably my fav n its the combination of blues whites the light mist in the background n the moon/planet watching over everything below
Todos as imagens do sulreal são fantástica, imaginação brilhante para criar obras tão prima. Comparo estes trabalhos aos de mestre do sulrealismo " Salvadro Dali ".
I'd like to submit an additional explanation for the appeal of this picture. Contrasts are very powerful tools; in music a key change from major to minor can make a song much more somber than it ever could be in just minor. Similarly this picture is beautiful and tranquil, but is also very harsh and forbidding (i.e. the snow and sharp mountain peaks). Incredible work.
Wow, you are truly amazing! When I see this picture, it has both breathtaking beauty and mercyless cold. You really feel the silence, you really freeze if you look at it. I picture myself that many visitors have been so stunned by the beauty in the icy caverns, by the pale light reflecting in the cold landscape, that they froze to death, forever captured in a crystal of ice, the divine beauty that became their death.
[Sits and stares at screen till relises that shes drooling] Can i say that i basically worship you now????????? How in the hell that is pc art did you do this???
This is amazing! The perspective is such that if you were standing in such a place as this, and you happened to look up and around at the canyon walls around you, this is exactly what you would see! Extrordinary.
I like the colors alot.I just feel theres a problem with the water looking too much like a mirror and not having any transperancey.Keep up the good work!
I agree with Stardust this picture potrays peace and solitude. Some of your picture really capture a certain feeling. My serach was futuristic pictures and I have centainly found that. Its very good work indead.
What a beautiful feeling this picture emits. It feels like loniliness embodied in color. Just a general feeling of peace, solitude, and deep sadness that seems to permeate the land itself. (<>..<>)
I realy like this one. You cant see that it is computer generated. Thats what I generaly dont like about computer generated pictured, that you can see that they are just that.
I love it!!! I am a poet and i still cant put this to words! You are great with graphics! This is an inspiration to artists and poets everywhere! Wonder if i can get one of you Graphic people out there to make me a Vampire with long blond hair and green eyes...
Ahh..well, I am speechless. I just want to pullon some more clothes, and go exploring THAT place. It might be cold, but I cannot even start to imagine all the hiiden secets in the ice. This setting is mindboggling, and very beautiful.
Comments about reality of reflection and freeze points of water are needless. THis is after all FANTASY art work. The subtle blend of the real and unreal is what makes this so incredible and affectual. Your a rising star in this field!

Your artwork is the most beautiful thing i have EVER seen. They are SO captivating. The color and details are perfect. You have truelly inspired me to explore the computer art field.
The ice flow in the lower left hand corner looks like a translucent humanoid figure with their head thrown back. It is easier to see this in the thumbnail than in the large picture. Was this intentional? It lends the picture a somewhat erotic quality.
