On a more serious note, I painted this picture while reading A Journey in Ladakh by Andrew Harvey. A travel book about one of the last places on earth where Tibetan Buddhist community survives. Or at least did in 1981 when the author traveled there. An interesting book about spiritual discovery and Tibetan Buddhist culture and mystery. The first part of the book is rather slow, but still nice, often describing the serene Himalayan scenery while traveling to Ladakh. In the second part, when the author meets the Rinpoche, the book really takes off. Here is one passage on Rinpoche's teaching the art of visualization:
"You will understand, slowly, and in slow stages, that Reality is a creation of the mind. You will understand it not with your intellect or even with your intuition, but practically, because you will be growing within you the power to alter Reality. You must work every day. You must not be discouraged if for many months you can visualize very little. What you are beginning is a journey into a different world, into an awareness of different reality; you cannot expect to make that journey quickly. Nor, in a sense, should you want to. "
Such mystical descriptions fueled my imagination while working on this image. I like reading mysticism because it induces feelings of mystery and awe... And perhaps that's its main purpose.

Not really an artist so I cant comment on the details of the art and what not, but it is truly an amazing depiction of parallel universes and dimensions :) very nice stuff
Now your pics have great detail and shading and not to mention the composition of colours is superb.. But what really quarrels me is... Do you use a computer program for these or do you sketch them then finish the rest on computer and if not what kinds of supplies do you use?
It is very nice, i think my favorite so far. It is almost impressionistic, You have an exxcellent use of colors, and the variety of shapes and objects. And the way you have captured how everything looks at times. The way the sky is beneath the horizion, its like a trick to make it all look absolutely real. I love it. :)
Excellent!!! Just enough contrast to define, yet so undefined in its possiblities. It leaves me wondering, what if? What would it be like to stand on the threshold of the universe. What would it be like to step beyond...
Dawid Michalczyk: @dale Thanks. I do not sell CDs with my work due to piracy concerns.
