Abstract art is a genre of art that started in the twentieth century. Its content often does not depict the world around us. Instead, abstract art relies heavily on the use of color and the relationship between form and shape. It departs from representational accuracy and focuses on exaggereation or simplification of forms. There are many different abstract styles like Cubism, Neoplasticism or Abstract expressionism.
This image is one of my first attempts at abstract art and I'm quite pleased with the result.

Hi John S, I certainly plan on including more people in my future artworks, including realistic settings especially for the Sci-fi gallery. As for "happy" settings, I don't know, as happy is different to different people. I do first and foremost that which brings me enjoyment. If that means selling less, so be it. Glad you enjoy the space images :)
I appreciate your artwork, especially the space series. Have you thought about doing some artwork with people in a more realistic, yet "happy" setting? I hope your prints/art do well commercially. John S
