Welcome to the official website of Dawid Michalczyk - a freelance illustrator and an artist. I specialize in creating artwork for PC and console games, especially concept art and texture painting, but I also do illustration for CD, box, and book covers. I work within the Fantasy art, Sci-Fi, Space art, Abstract and Surreal art genres and utilize a variety of 2D and 3D digital art techniques.
Inside you will find examples of my professional work, illustration, and most of my personal artwork which is available as framed prints, posters, and as art stock for licensing purposes. I also have a popular freebie section which contains samples of my work in the form of free computer wallpapers, online puzzle games, psp wallpapers, iPhone wallpapers, avatars and free textures.
In the Sci-Fi art gallery you will find illustrations of future cities, spaceships, vehicles, and alien worlds. My Fantasy art gallery is at the moment populated by warriors, a skull, and a mystic illustration. The Surreal art gallery is full of colorful and thought provoking imagery with many enigmatic landscapes. You will also find quite a bit of Space art here - planets, nebulae, galaxies and other space art matter. I also do colorful Abstract art. Finally there are the Concept art, game textures and Misc galleries which represent examples of my professional work done for games and other projects.
